Purpose. The purpose of the Vermont Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VVRA) is to support the provision of vocational rehabilitation services in Vermont. The State of Vermont Department of Labor provides rules & guidelines pertaining to the provision of VR services to injured Vermont workers in the workers compensation system.
Goal. The VVRA’s goal is to promote the quality and effectiveness of VR services within these guidelines by seeking to achieve certain objectives.
Commitment. When you join the VVRA, you commit yourself to adhere to the highest standards of professional conduct. You commit yourself to continuing education and to recognize that peer interaction is an important element in maintaining quality service delivery. When you join the VVRA, you recognize that what affects one affects all. We as individual and corporate practitioners can be more effective in helping others if we act in concert with our colleagues to pursue common goals.
